Men’s Tennis Adds Stefan Vedovelli for 2026-27 Season
OXFORD, Miss. (Release)– Ole Miss men’s tennis head coach Jake Jacoby and his staff continue to reload for the 2026-27 campaign, signing Stefan Vedovelli on Friday.
“Stefan is an outstanding addition to the team for this coming year,” coach Jacoby said. “He played against us this past Spring and really impressed me with his toughness and his level both in doubles and singles. He has a huge desire to see how far he can go and how much he can improve, and we are very lucky to have him. Hotty Toddy!”
The native of Mezzolombardo, Italy, will transfer in after playing two seasons at Belmont. This past season, Vedovelli compiled a 12-10 dual singles record, while splitting time between playing courts one through three. One of his losses came from a match against fellow Rebel Pietro Pampanin, where Vedovelli lost a three-set battle, 4-6, 6-2, 4-6.
In doubles, he compiled a 16-12 dual singles record while playing court one alongside his partner Sabi Roi. The duo managed to take down the Rebel pairing of Kai Milburn and Isac Stromberg, 7-5; Milburn and Stromberg were ranked as the No. 18 duo in the country per ITA rankings at the time when Belmont played against Ole Miss this past season.
Vedovelli joins Igor Kudriashov, Moritz Kudernatsch, Mason Landreth and Niccolo Baroni as the fifth addition for the Rebels out of the transfer portal, along with returners Stefano D’Agostino, Pietro Pampanin, Vlado Jankanj, and Kai Milburn. Ole Miss currently has nine student-athletes on its 2026-27 roster.
