Former Ole Miss OL Diego Pounds signs with Baltimore Ravens as UDFA

OXFORD, Miss. — Former Ole Miss offensive lineman Diego Pounds has signed with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent. Pounds will have the opportunity to show his consistency and toughness in the trenches, something he was known for in Oxford.

Pounds became a cornerstone of Ole Miss’ offensive line during his time with the Rebels, emerging as one of the most reliable and physical blockers up front. His presence helped anchor a unit that played a critical role in the Rebels’ historic run to the College Football Playoff, where Ole Miss showcased one of the most dynamic offenses in the country.

After transferring in from North Carolina, Pounds steadily developed into a key piece of the Rebels’ front. Known for his size, strength, and ability to handle SEC pass rushers, he provided stability at tackle and guard, demonstrating versatility that translates well to the next level.

Throughout his career at Ole Miss, Pounds earned a reputation for his physical style of play and his ability to win at the point of attack. Whether in pass protection or opening lanes in the run game, he consistently held his own against some of the nation’s top defensive talent.

Pounds was a key part of the postseason for Ole Miss, helping protect Trinidad Chambliss and establish the physical identity the Rebels leaned on throughout their playoff run.

Now, he takes that experience to the NFL.
