Former Ole Miss Tight End Dae’Quan Wright Signs with Philadelphia as UDFA

OXFORD, Miss.- Former Ole Miss tight end Dae’Quan Wright has been signed as an undrafted free agent by the Philadelphia Eagles. Wright had an impressive season with the Rebels during their historic run in 2025, and he brings significant value to the tight end room as well as offensive versatility.

Wright put together an impressive career for the Rebels, hauling in 66 receptions for 1,029 yards and nine touchdowns. The Perry, Georgia native earned an invitation to the NFL Scouting Combine, where he measured in at 6-foot-4, 246 pounds and finished fourth among tight ends in overall testing.

While the production is notable, Wright’s on-field traits are what truly make him an intriguing prospect. He excels at adjusting to the ball in space, showing natural body control and strong awareness when settling into soft spots in coverage.

After the catch, Wright consistently generates extra yardage, using his agility and balance to make defenders miss and extend plays. His effectiveness as a move blocker further enhances his value, allowing him to contribute in a variety of offensive schemes and alignments.
