Vegas Insider releases projected 2022 win totals for SEC

OXFORD, Miss. — SEC Media Days will be here in less than two weeks! So it’s officially time to start looking at the upcoming 2022 football season. One way to do that is to examine the Las Vegas oddsmakers’ predictions for total wins.

VegasInsider.com believes the SEC will continue to be strong, predicting that three-quarters of the league will finish greater than .500.

The oddsmakers predict Alabama will lead the SEC with 11.5 wins, with Georgia next with a projection of 10.5 victories in 2022. 

Kentucky and A&M sit at 8.5 wins projected, while Ole Miss, Florida, LSU and Tennessee are sitting at 7.5 wins. 

Next comes Arkansas and State at 6.5 expected wins on the season, followed by Auburn, South Carolina, and Missouri at 5.5. Vanderbilt is only projected to win 2.5 games on the season.
