TOP OF 9TH
As we head to the top of the 9th, Ole Miss leads CSU 9-3. Due up for CSU will be 6-7-8.
*New pitcher for Ole Miss as Mason Nichols takes the mound for Mitch Murrell.
Brewer – He’s on to pinch hit for Harris. He singles to left field.
Rodriguez – He’s on to pinch hit for Waldschmidt. CSU has runner on first, no outs. NICHOLS GETS HIM TO GO DOWN SWINGING!
Sczepkowski – He’s pinch hitting for Asman. He’s up to bat with one on, one out. First strikeout for Nichols! Sczepkowski pops up to second. Two outs, runner on first.
Basler – He pops up and REBELS WIN, 9-3!!
TOP OF 8TH
As we start the 8th inning at Swayze, Ole Miss leads CSU 9-3. Due up for CSU will be: 2-3-4. *Mitch Murrell back out to the mound for his second inning of the game.
Izzio – The CSU first baseman will lead things off. Murrell strikes him out looking on an 0-2 count!
McIntosh – Murrell gets him to go down swinging! Two up, two down. That’s Murrell’s 4th K of the game.
Mills – He reaches base on an error by the Ole Miss third baseman and then advances to second. Aldrich to pinch run for Mills. One RISP, two outs for CSU. Rebels lead 9-3.
Fazzari – Reaches on an error, but batter is thrown out at home to end the top of the 8th!
BOTTOM OF 8TH
Rebels lead CSU 9-3 as we head to the bottom of the 8th. Tim Elko, who homered in his last at bat, leads off the frame for Ole Miss. 4-5-6 up for Bianco’s bunch.
Tim Elko – The Captain strikes out swinging.
*New pitcher for CSU: Candelas to the mound for Gilmore.
Kevin Graham – He strikes out swinging. Two outs, nobody on for the Rebs.
Ben Van Cleve – He’s on to pinch hit for TJ McCants. He flies out to center and we head to the 9th with Ole Miss up 9-3. #HYDR

After Elko’s home run in the bottom of the 6th, Ole Miss takes a 9-2 lead over Charleston Southern. Due up for CSU: 6-7-8.
*New pitcher for the Rebs as Mitch Murrell goes to the mound for Jack Washburn.
Harris – He reaches on a throwing error by short…but then Dunhurst throws him out at first!
Waldschmidt – He homers to left field. Solo home run. Rebels lead 9-3. One out.
Asman – The CSU left fielder is up to bat with one out, nobody on. Murrell gets him to go down swinging!
Basler – Nine-hole hitter Basler up next. Nobody on, two outs. Ole Miss leads 9-3. He singles through the right side.
Carter – To the top of the CSU order we go. Carter steps up with runner on first, two outs, and his team trailing the Rebels 9-3. Murrell gets him to go down swinging to end the frame!
BOTTOM OF 7TH
Due up for Ole Miss: Dunhurst, Burford, Chatagnier. Ole Miss leads this one 9-3 as we head to the bottom of the seventh. Corey Braun the pitcher for CSU.
Hayden Dunhurst – The Ole Miss catcher draws a leadoff, full-count walk. HYDR!
Reagan Burford – He strikes out looking. Rebs have runner on first, one out and head back to the top of the order.
*New pitcher for CSU: Gilmore to the mound for Braun
Peyton Chatagnier – The second baseman flies out to center. Two outs, runner on first.
Justin Bench – Dunhurst gets to second on a wild pitch. And…Justin Bench is HBP. Rebs with runners on first and second, two outs. Ole Miss leads 9-3.
Jacob Gonzalez – The sophomore shortstop grounds out to short to end the seventh inning.

We go to the sixth inning with Ole Miss leading CSU, 8-2. Due up for CSU will be 2-3-4. New pitcher for the Rebels will be Jack Washburn for Derek Diamond. Ole Miss leads 8-2.

Izzio – Izzio flies out to center.
McIntosh – He goes down swinging for Washburn’s first K as an Ole Miss pitcher!
Mills – He draws a two-out walk. Five-hole hitter up next.
Fazzari – Mills advances to second on an Ole Miss error. Then, the CSU catcher Fazarri then grounds out to third to end the top of the sixth.

As we head to the top of the fifth, Ole Miss leads CSU 8-2! Derek Diamond has 8 Ks thus far today. Due up for CSU: 8-9-10.
Asman – Leadoff hitter in the 5th flies out to right field.

Ole Miss leads 8-2 as we start the bottom of the fifth. Due up for the Rebels: Dunhurst-Burford-Chatagnier.
Hayden Dunhurst – The Ole Miss catcher grounds out to second.
Reagan Burford – Reagan draws a one-out walk. Rebels have one on base and an 8-2 lead over Charleston Southern.
Peyton Chatagnier – We are back to the top of the order with second baseman Chatagnier at the plate. He flies out to right field. Justin Bench up to bat next.
Justin Bench – Bench comes up to bat with runner on first and two outs. He draws a walk. Burford on second. Gonzalez up to bat next.

Ole Miss has a 6-2 lead over CSU as we head to the bottom of the 4th. Due up for the Rebels: 2-3-4 aka Bench, Gonzalez, Elko. Diamond has thrown 69 pitches through 4 innings. Rebels lead 6-2.
Justin Bench – Justin singles up the middle to get things going in the B4!
Jacob Gonzalez – Bench advances on a wild pitch to Gonzalez. Jacob then singles to left and picks up an RBI as Bench scores. Rebels lead 7-2!

Derek Diamond heads back to the mound. He’ll see 7-8-9 from CSU. Derek already has 5 strikeouts in the first two innings. Ole Miss leads CSU, 4-0.
Waldschmidt – He draws a leadoff walk. That’s the first walk of the game for Diamond.
Asman – The CSU junior left fielder steps up with runner on first, no outs. *Waldschmidt is thrown out at second from Dunhurst to Gonzalez. Caught stealing! Asman then strikes out looking! Two down, nobody on!
Basler – He grounds out to first and to the bottom of the third we go! Rebels lead 4-0!
BOTTOM OF 3RD
With a 4-0 lead, Ole Miss comes up to bat in the bottom of the third. Due up for the Rebels will be: Eklo, Graham, McCants.
New pitcher for CSU: Robinson on to pitch for Bryce Brock.
Tim Elko – The captain draws a leadoff walk. Rebels lead 4-0 and have Elko on first with no outs.

After a three-up, three down first inning, Derek Diamond comes back to the mound for Ole Miss. Due up for CSU is 4-5-6, Mills, Fazzari, and Harris.
Rebels lead 1-0 as we start the 2nd.
Mills – Diamond gets him to go down swinging! One down.
Fazzari – Diamond throws his first change-up of the game against Fazzarri. He gets Fazzari swinging for out number two this inning! That’s Diamond’s 4th strikeout of the game, the 4th K in 5 batters faced. HYDR!
Harris – Strikes out swinging, out at first (c to 1b). Rebels lead 1-0 as we head to bottom of 2nd. Graham, McCants, and Alderman due up for Ole Miss.

We head to B2 with Graham, McCants, and Alderman due up for the Rebels. Ole Miss leads CSU, 1-0.
