Meet the Rebels Day set for Saturday, August 15

This Saturday, August 15 is Meet the Rebels Day! Fans will have a chance to meet their favorite member of the Ole Miss Rebels football team in the Manning Center on campus.

Doors will open to the Rebels Kids’ Club Members, with up to two parents or guardians, at 12:30 p.m., at the east entrance of the facility. The public can enter at 1 p.m. through the south entrance that faces the track and field complex.

To enroll a child in the Rebels Kids’ Club, visit www.RebelKidsClub.com. All fans in attendance need to park in the Coliseum lot or the new parking garage across from Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.

During the event, the soccer, volleyball, rifle, and spirit squads will meet and greet fans and sign autographs. There will also be a chance for fans to purchase Ole Miss apparel and the 2015-16 Media Guide.

Team posters will be handed out to fans, and a kids zone will be set up with inflatables and other games.

The Ole Miss Athletics Ticket Office will be selling single-game tickets to four home games: UT-Martin, Fresno State, Vanderbilt, and New Mexico State. Fans will have the option to purchase tickets to the four home games through the Rebel 4-Pack or Rebel Pick 3-Pack options.

The coaching staff and players will be signing autographs and greeting fans from 1 to 3 p.m. Fans will be limited to one autograph item per player or coach, and photos or videos with players and coaches will not be allowed.

A live broadcast from the stage will air on Q105 (105.1 and 105.5 FM in the Oxford area) beginning at 1 p.m. with an on-air team led by David Vellum, the “Voice of the Rebels.”

Fans who are in attendance and active on Twitter should use the hashtag #MeetTheRebels to share their experience. Hotty Toddy!
