OXFORD, Miss. — Ole Miss athletics are at the center of attention lately. Football head coach Pete Golding has been bringing in recruits left and right, while Ole Miss baseball set the college baseball world on fire over the weekend and has now earned a trip to the Super Regionals.

So, what happened next?

EA Sports College Football is one of the biggest video game franchises in the world, especially among football fans. The newest addition to the series, College Football 27, will feature Ole Miss running back Kewan Lacy alongside Dante Moore and Malachi Toney on the game’s standard cover.

The highly-touted video game series returned in 2024. The former head coach of the Rebels made an appearance on last year’s deluxe edition. However, Lacy is the first Ole Miss player to appear on the feature cover of the game.

During the 2025 season, the then-sophomore rushed for 1,567 yards and 24 touchdowns on 306 carries. Along the way, he also broke three school records: single-season rushing touchdowns (24), all-purpose touchdowns (24), and points scored by a non-kicker (144).

Lacy has emerged as a superstar running back, making waves both on and off the field. Now entering his junior season, he shows no signs of slowing down, especially with the talented staff and roster assembled around him. He has become a face of Ole Miss athletics and represents the program at its highest level.
