Ole Miss Softball Inks Seven on National Signing Day

OXFORD, Miss. – (Release) Ole Miss softball head coach Jamie Trachsel announced the addition of seven new Rebels on Wednesday as the Class of 2028 officially put pen to paper on National Signing Day.

Tate DavisINF | Greer, S.C. | Greer HS

HIGH SCHOOL: Ranked No. 46 by Extra Inning Softball in the class of 2024 … A six-year letterwinner at Greer High School in Greer, South Carolina … Boasts a career .452 batting average with over 100 hits, RBI and runs scored … Holds the Greer program records for games played, at-bats, hits, home runs and RBI … Earned All-Upstate Greenville News honors in 2021, 2022 and 2023 … A two-time All-State honoree … Guided Greer to three straight Region 4A-2 Championships in 2021, 2022 and 2023 … Posted a .592 mark at the plate as a junior, tallying 45 hits, including nine home runs … Drove in 37 runs and scored 43 herself en route to collecting All-State and All-Region laurels … Hit .491 as a sophomore while recovering from an injury … Tallied 27 hits, including six bombs to earn an All-Region nod … As a freshman, recorded a .458 batting average with 27 hits in 19 games … Added eight home runs and 33 RBI … Received All-State and All-Region honors in 2021 … Played on her high school team in both seventh and eighth grade, registering a .366 and .500 batting average, respectively … Played travel ball for Georgia Bombers Gold 18u Lewis and Georgia Impact Sampson … Was also a member of Honors Society and served as the Junior Student Class President.
