Ole Miss Pitcher Hunter Elliott Selected for USA Collegiate National Team
OXFORD, Miss. — Ole Miss pitcher Hunter Elliott has been selected to play for the 2022 USA Baseball Collegiate National Team this summer.
Coming out of high school, Elliott was ranked the 203rd overall prospect, the 25th left-handed pitcher and fourth overall player by Perfect Game.
So far this season, Elliott has logged 54.2 innings with 74 strikeouts and owns 3.29 ERA. He has three games this season where he has collected a career-high nine strikeouts which came against ULM, Missouri, and LSU.

USA Collegiate National Team Schedule
The USA Collegiate National Team training camp will host approximately 50 of the top non-draft eligible college players who will play a five-game Stars and Stripes intrasquad series June 30th-July 4 in North Carolina.
After training camp, USA Baseball will name a final, 26-man Collegiate National Team roster that will represent the United States at Honkbalweek Haarlem in the Netherlands from July 9–15, playing against Japan, Cuba, Italy, the Netherlands and Curacao.
Nick Filipich was born and raised in Biloxi, MS. He is an Ole Miss senior majoring in Sports and Recreation Administration. A sports junkie with a great passion for all things Ole Miss, Nick played baseball and football in high school — which is where he discovered his love for sports. He is an avid Braves and Saints fan, and in his free time enjoys spending time with family, friends and his black lab, Dixie.
