Ole Miss running back Henry Parrish enters transfer portal

OXFORD, Miss. — Ole Miss running back Henry Parrish Jr. has entered the transfer portal as reported by Matt Zenitz of On3 Sports and confirmed by The Rebel Walk.

In his sophomore season this year, Parrish rushed for 551 yards on 105 carries and scored three touchdowns. Parrish’s exit comes on the heels of Rebels’ running backs coach Kevin Smith taking the same position at Miami.

As a true freshman in 2020, Parrish played in all 10 games with one start at running back. He recorded 56 carries for 263 yards and two touchdowns. He also hauled in seven receptions for 59 yards.

With Parrish entering the portal, following the additional departures of running backs Jerrion Ealy and Snoop Conner, who have declared for the NFL Draft, the Ole Miss running back room is down some key players.

However, Coach Kiffin and staff received a big commit on January 6 when TCU transfer running back Zach Evans — the highest ranked recruit in TCU history — committed to Ole Miss. Ole Miss also signed another talented running back in Quinshon Judkins on National Signing Day last month. The Rebels also have junior Kentrel Bullock returning.

Joining Parrish in the transfer portal are the following Ole Miss players:

David Beckum

Quentin Bivens (Southern Miss)

LeDarrius Cox (Indiana)

Sincere David

Daylen Gill (Southern Miss)

Brice Johnson (Houston)

Jadon Jackson (South Alabama)

Jalen Jordan

Patrick Lucas (Indiana)

John Rhys Plumlee (UCF)

Bryce Ramsey

Jamar Richardson

MoMo Sanogo (Louisville)

DaMarcus Thomas
