Gameday Predictions: Ole Miss vs. Liberty

OXFORD, Miss. — Last week was one of the toughest predictions I’ve had to make. Ultimately I decided to go with a gut feeling that Matt Corral was going to go wild and Ole Miss would win behind No. 2. That wasn’t exactly the case as injuries had piled up and Auburn was just a little too much to handle.

Now the Rebels are returning home and looking to rework some things. The big news coming out of the week is that Ole Miss has been practicing this week with only two of its initial eleven starters on offense. Lane Kiffin will look to bring in some new faces as a non-conference game against Liberty couldn’t have come at a better time.

Fans and NFL GMs are now going to flood into Vaught-Hemingway Stadium Saturday to see two of the top QB prospects eligible for the 2022 NFL Draft in Matt Corral and Liberty QB Malik Willis.

Let’s get a quick look at the standings for our media panel.
