BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – (Courtesy of Ole Miss Media Relations) The Southeastern Conference has announced a revised schedule of men’s basketball games due to the icy weather that is moving throughout the region this week. As part of those changes, the Ole Miss men’s basketball team will now host LSU on Thursday, February 18. Tipoff is slated for 4 p.m. CT on SEC Network.
The game, just added to the schedule 24 hours ago, was originally set for Wednesday, February 17 at 8 p.m. CT.
The matchup creates another Quadrant 1 opportunity for the Rebels as they make a push towards an NCAA Tournament berth. LSU is currently ranked 26th in the NET, while Ole Miss sits at No. 55. The Rebels enter the contest with four straight victories, the SEC’s longest active winning streak.
