Softball Receives 13-Seed in SEC Tournament, Opens vs. South Carolina
OXFORD, Miss. (Release)– Following completion of the regular season, Ole Miss softball will enter the 2026 SEC Tournament as the No. 13 seed, as the Southeastern Conference announced on Saturday.
The Rebels will clash with No. 12 seed South Carolina on Tuesday, May 5 at John Cropp Stadium in Lexington, Ky. The game will be the third of the day and will follow game two at roughly 6 p.m. CT, or approximately 35 minutes after its completion. The first game of the day is set for 12 p.m. CT.
The two sides last met during the 2025 regular season. The winner of the matchup would face No. 5 Tennessee on Wednesday at 4 p.m. CT.
All of the first three rounds will be televised on the SEC Network. The SEC semifinal and final will be televised on ESPN.
