Ole Miss Baseball Leaps Eight Spots in D1Baseball Top 25

OXFORD, Miss.– The Ole Miss baseball team collected its third straight series victory this past weekend in Knoxville, defeating Tennessee two games to one, and advanced to No. 17 in D1Baseball’s Top 25 Rankings this week.

The Rebels’ jump from 25 to 17 is two weeks in the making, as Ole Miss swept the then-No. 24 LSU Tigers the weekend prior, and collected a mid-week victory over then-No. 22 Southern Miss in convincing 10-3 fashion, before defeating the Vols Friday and Saturday. OleMiss dropped the series finale on Sunday, ending a nine game winning streak.
