Recruit Reactions: Ole Miss Prospects and Commits Give Thoughts on Rebels’ 40-6 win over Wake Forest

OXFORD, Miss. — Ole Miss football took the show on the road for the first time this football season last Saturday as the Rebels defeated Wake Forest, 40-6. It was, at times, a little sloppy in Wintson-Salem for Ole Miss, but a win is a win, as they say. The Rebels improve to 3-0 and are back home this weekend to play Georgia Southern before opening SEC play.

This is a new week and new opportunity for Ole Miss, not just on the football field but also on the recruiting trail. With plenty of eyes on the Rebels, week-in and week-out, we are catching up with some of the top prospects, commits, coaches and more to get their take on Ole Miss’ play and what stood out to them.

Here are their thoughts:

Hayden Bradley

Our offense is a severe threat to our opponent’s defense. We operate at a speed that no defense can keep up with! You can see how close of a tight-knit group the team is and it shows with the scores the past three games.”

Hayden Bradley, 2025 3-star TE, Buford, GA, Ole Miss Commit

Jalen Williams

“What stood out the most is just the continued dominance on both sides. I know Coach Kiffin is known for putting great offenses together, but the way the defense has been biting is special!”

Jalen Williams, 2026 4-star CB, Kell High School, Marietta, GA

DJ Bordeaux

“I think they are having an amazing season, and I love what they are doing. I’m excited to get up there for a game.”

DJ Bordeaux, 2026 3-star QB, Douglas Co. High School, Douglassville, GA

Brian Swanson

“Ole Miss did what they supposed to do — teams like that, Ole Miss should blow them out every time. The offensive linemen are getting a lot of push up front and opening up holes for the running backs.”

Brian Swanson, 2027, 4-star OT, South Oak Cliff HS, Dallas, TX

Aaron Gregory

“I do know Coach Kiffin will get the ball in his playmakers’ hands, and as a WR, he definitely puts it in the air, so I’m loving that.”

Aaron Gregory, 2026 4-star WR, Douglas Co. High School, Douglassville, GA

Jayden Mack

“‘They are one good football team!’ is really all I’ve been thinking about when watching them play.”

Jayden Mack, 2027, IOL, Hutto, TX

Robert “Rjay” Tyson

“Great game. Offense put on a show with 500+ yards and multiple touchdowns, and the defense was lockdown, allowing only 2 field goals the whole game!!”

Robert “Rjay” Tyson, 2026 CB, Douglas County, Douglassville, GA

One thing is for certain: the onlooking eyes are staying locked in with the Rebels. Across the board, what prospects and commits are really liking is the way Lane Kiffin and his staff have set up the team up for success and are making opportunities for players to compete to play.

Week 4 is going to be an exciting one, as the Rebels will have plenty of their top targets and commits on hand. We’ll be bringing you all the info as to what keeps Ole Miss on their mind, so stay tuned to The Rebel Walk!
