Former Ole Miss players make NFL 53-man rosters, including five from 2021 Rebels’ team

OXFORD, Miss. — It’s game week for Ole Miss football, and that’s exciting for Rebel fans. However, there’s even more to be excited about as a number of former Ole Miss players made the 53-man rosters of their NFL teams after the pro teams trimmed their rosters Tuesday.

Ole Miss players chosen in the 2022 NFL Draft who made the 53-man rosters:

  • Chance Campbell (Titans)
  • Mark Robinson (Steelers)
  • Sam Williams (Cowboys)
  • Snoop Conner (Jaguars)
  • Deane Leonard (Chargers)

Note: 2021 players quarterback Matt Corral (Panthers) and offensive lineman Ben Brown (Bengals) were placed on injured reserve, as was former player, CJ Moore (Lions)

The following former players have also made their respective team’s 53-man rosters:

  • Dawson Knox (Bills)
  • Myles Hartsfield (Panthers)
  • Marquis Haynes Sr., (Panthers)
  • Jaylon Jones (Bears)
  • Mike Hilton (Bengals)
  • DJ Jones (Broncos)
  • Royce Newman (Packers)
  • Laremy Tunsil (Texans)
  • Evan Engram (Jaguars)
  • Brandon Bolden (Raiders)
  • Greg Little (Dolphins)
  • Elijah Moore (Jets)
  • AJ Brown (Eagles)
  • DK Metcalf (Seahawks)
  • AJ Moore (Titans)

The following Rebels were cut/waived by their respective teams but may well make the practice squads:

  • Dontario Drummond (Cowboys)
  • Jerrion Ealy (Chiefs)
  • Braylon Sanders, (Dolphins)
  • Tariqious Tisdale (Bengals)
