Six SEC teams ranked in Athlon Sports’ preseason top 25

Athlon Sports released its preseason rankings for 2016 on Monday, and the Southeastern Conference has six teams in the top 25.

Not surprisingly, defending national champion Alabama sits at the top of the list. The Crimson Tide is joined by three additional SEC teams in the top 10: Tennessee sits at No. 7; LSU is ranked No. 9 and Ole Miss comes in at No. 10.

Rounding out the league’s teams in the top 25 are Georgia at No. 17 and Florida at No. 21.
