Ole Miss Drops Three Spots in D1 Baseball Top 25 Poll after Series Loss to Arkansas

OXFORD, Miss. — D1 Baseball.com released its latest Top 25 Poll on Monday, and Ole Miss dropped three spots after dropping the series, 2-1, on the road to the Arkansas Razorbacks over the weekend.

Ole Miss (32-17, 12-12 SEC) came into last week ranked No. 17 in the country and fell to No. 10 Mississippi State in the Governor’s Cup in Pearl. The Rebels were then run-ruled by the Hogs on Friday night, 12-2, but bounced back to win game two, 11-4, on Saturday before falling in a walk-off heartbreaker, 5-4, on Sunday. 

There are ten teams in this week’s poll: Texas (4); Georgia (5); Auburn (6); A&M (9); Mississippi State (11); Arkansas (17); Alabama (19); Ole Miss (20); Florida (21); and Oklahoma (24).

Ole Miss returns to action on Friday as the Rebels welcome the Texas A&M Aggies into Swayze for a three-game SEC tilt. The first pitch is set for 6:30 p.m. Friday and will be streamed on SEC Network +.
