Madi George Named Freshman All-American by Softball America
OXFORD, Miss. (Release)– Ole Miss softball’s Madi George has been named a freshman All-American by Softball America, as the organization announced on Tuesday.
George gives the Rebels a second consecutive season with a freshman All-America honor, after Miali Guachino was tabbed to D1Softball’s in 2025.
The award caps off a huge debut season for the Leander, Texas native, who was also named a top-10 finalist for the NFCA Freshman of the Year honor. George adds the award alongside her All-SEC Second Team and NFCA All-South Region First Team honors.
George proved to be a critical piece of the puzzle for the Rebels, as she hit .379 with 23 home runs, 63 RBI, 10 doubles and 27 walks. George finishes the season as the single-season record holder for home runs, RBI, total bases (150) and slugging percentage (.824) at Ole Miss.
In her first NCAA Tournament experience, George also shined, hitting .308 with two home runs and five RBI.
