Auburn transfer safety Antonio Kite commits to Ole Miss
OXFORD, Miss. — Ole Miss received a commitment Tuesday night from Auburn transfer safety Antonio Kite. Kite took an official visit to Oxford last week.

Kite was a four-star recruit coming out of Anniston (Alabama) High School and was ranked as the No. 13 safety nationally and the No. 8 overall player in Alabama in the 2022 class.
Before playing for Auburn, Kite was with Alabama, signing with the Tide in the class of 2022. He transferred to Auburn after two seasons in Tuscaloosa, before now landing in Oxford.
Kite did not see a lot of action on the Plains this past season, tallying six tackles, one interception and a blocked punt. Although he played in eight games for Auburn, he was suspended from head coach Hugh Freeze’s team in October for a “violation of team rules.”
Across his three seasons of football, Kite has Kite has played in a total of 17 games.
Kite is currently rated as a three-star prospect by 247Sports and the No. 32 defensive back in the portal.
