Ole Miss moves up three spots in D1 Baseball rankings to No. 6; Rebs host No. 5 Tennessee Friday

OXFORD, Miss. — After a weekend series win over Kentucky, Ole Miss baseball has moved up three spots to No. 6 in this week’s D1 Baseball Rankings. Following midweek games versus Memphis and Alcorn State, the Rebels will host Tennessee this weekend at Swayze. The Vols dropped their series to A&M this weekened.

There are 10 Southeastern Conference teams in this week’s top 25, with six of the top seven residing in the league: 1) Arkansas, 2) Texas, 3) LSU, 5) Tennessee, 6) Ole Miss, 7) Georgia, 11) Auburn, 12) Alabama, 17) Vanderbilt, and 19) Oklahoma.

Next Up: 

Ole Miss travels to Memphis to face the Tigers on Tuesday. First pitch is set for 6:00 p.m. and the game will be streamed on ESPN+. The Rebels will be back home on Wednesday to host Alcorn State in a 4:00 p.m. contest that will be streamed on SEC+.

The Rebels host the No. 5 Vols on Friday at 6:30 p.m., Saturday at 4:00 p.m., and conclude the series Sunday at 2:00 p.m. The first two games will be streamed on SEC+, while the conclusion of the series will air on the SEC network.
