Rebel Recipes: Here’s a great Breakfast Casserole for Ole Miss’ morning game vs. A&M

Welcome to our first 11am aka “Breakfast Game” of the season. While I do not love an early kickoff, I am a lover of all things breakfast, including Bloody Marys, mimosas, and breakfast casserole. That is the recipe of the week: a delicious breakfast casserole that will serve a crowd and only has four ingredients.

Let’s hope Coach Kiffin and the Rebels serve up a slice of KICK-a**-erole to Jimbo Fisher and the Aggies!

Kevin & Amanda’s Breakfast Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 can crescent rolls (or just the crescent roll dough sheets, which I prefer)
  • 1 lb sausage, browned and drained
  • 6 eggs, beaten with salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese (I like the Kraft with the Philly cream cheese mixed in.)

Directions

  1. Grease 9×13 pan.
  2. Press crescent roll dough onto entire bottom of pan.
  3. Sprinkle ground sausage atop dough.
  4. Pour beaten eggs over the top of the sausage.
  5. Top with cheese.

Bake at 350° for 30 minutes until no longer jiggly or runny. Makes delicious leftovers too!
