Oxford, Miss. – Ole Miss phenom hurler Hunter Elliott on Monday afternoon was tabbed as SEC Co-Freshman of the Week for the second straight week, becoming the first player in the SEC to earn a weekly award in back-to-back weeks.
Elliott was instrumental in helping Ole Miss achieve its first ever sweep in Baton Rouge over the weekend in an 11-1 game-two victory over LSU.
He allowed just four hits, three walks and one earned run while striking out nine Tigers in 6.2 innings of work on Saturday.
