Fischer appeared in 55 games for the Rebels, starting in all of them (43 at third base, 12 at designated hitter). He was also named ABCA/Rawlings South All-Region Second Team Third Baseman.
The New Jersey native led Ole Miss in hits (59), RBI (57), triples (2), home runs (20), and total bases (133). He finished second on the team in slugging percentage (.643), runs scored (47), and walks (35), and he became just the fourth Rebel in program history to hit 20 home runs in a season.
