Come to the ‘Sip: Two talented 2025 recruits set dates to visit Lane Kiffin and the Rebels this spring
OXFORD, Miss. — Amid an action-packed spring for Ole Miss football, Lane Kiffin and his staff have continued to be persistent on the recruiting trail. Most recently, 2025 recruits DaSaahn Brame (TE) and Marcus Wimberly (S) announced they will be visiting Oxford over the next two months.
Tight End DaSaahn Brame
The four-star tight end out of Kansas is set to visit Ole Miss April 12-14, putting him in the perfect position to be able to spectate at this year’s Grove Bowl on April 13th. Brame released his top eight schools in early December, and Ole Miss was not one of them, so give credit to Coach Kiffin and the Rebels for continuing to pursue the talented Brame.

Through the addition of tight ends coach Joe Cox, the Rebels now have a legitimate chance of landing the 6-foot-6, 235-pound stud. Currently, it is predicted that Oregon is in the lead, but schools like Florida, Tennessee, Kansas State, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Michigan, and now Ole Miss are still in contention.
Safety Marcus Wimberly
Wimberly is a three-star safety from Bauxite, Arkansas, and he has some of the top programs in the nation after him. According to On3’s Sam Speigelman, Marcus will visit Ole Miss on March 21st, along with five other schools in the month of March: Arkansas, SMU, Memphis, Alabama, and Oklahoma.
At this moment, it appears that Arkansas and Oklahoma are the current favorites for Wimberly, but we’ll have a much better gauge after he takes these visits.

Marcus possesses a Power Five frame, standing at 6-foot-1 and weighing 200 pounds. On top of his physical appearance, Wimberly also runs a 4.40 40-yard dash, per reports. There’s a reason that some of the top teams in America are pursuing him at such a high rate.
