Shark Snacks: Field Goal Meatballs!

Shark Snacks: Field Goal Meatballs!

OXFORD, Miss. — In lieu of a recipe this week, all I can say is that the soup of the day is whiskey!!!

I’m kidding, but this Saturday’s game has almost more hype than I can handle. My nerves are already shot!

With a 2:30 kickoff, I know we all want something easy that doesn’t require additional stress or prep work. This recipe might be one of the easiest (and most bizarre sounding), but I PROMISE, it is delicious and only requires THREE ingredients.

Again, it sounds weird, but it works. And just like pregame superstitions, it’s not weird as long as it works!

Field Goal Meatballs

Field Goal Meatballs (So named due to only 3 ingredients!)

  • One 32-ounce package of frozen meatballs (I like FarmRich brand.)
  • One 10-ounce jar of grape jelly (IMO, has to be Smucker’s!)
  • 1.5 cups of ketchup

-Stir together jelly and ketchup.

-Add this sauce and frozen meatballs to a crock pot.

-Cook 2-3 hours on high or 4-6 hours on low.

**You can also use your favorite BBQ sauce or chili sauce in place of ketchup!

Go Rebels, and beat Bama!!!
