Flagship Football Show Premiers on The Rebel Walk
The Flagship Football Show has joined The Rebel Walk, and you’ll want to check it out for all the latest Ole Miss sports news and info.
There’s a new Ole Miss sports podcast in town, except this time, it’s not with the Ole Miss personalities you already know and maybe love. Instead, it’s with a team of Ole Miss students you probably don’t know, but will definitely come to love in time!
Led by our senior football writer Jake Evans, the Flagship team started recording episodes for Big Heads Media in the fall of 2019. The original team included Jake, Land Teller, and Hays Dubberly. all three of whom have covered Ole Miss athletics for The Rebel Walk for over three years.
The podcast covered Ole Miss football, basketball, and baseball, and featured interviews with former Rebels such as Dawson Knox, Javon Patterson, Jordan Ta’amu, Sean Rawlings, Shay Hodge, and Ole Miss AD Keith Carter.
When COVID-19 hit, the team opted out of the remainder of 2020, but as of last week, the podcast is back, now a part of The Rebel Walk! Sadly, Hays Dubberly has retired, but the show must go on. He’s been replaced by Ole Miss baseball manager Michael Spears.
Episodes will be posted every Thursday on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube. They will also be available here on The Rebel Walk!
We’ve attached this week’s episode below – subscribe wherever you get your podcasts, and stay tuned for more great Ole Miss content!
