Anderson, a 6-foot-1 guard from San Jose State, averaged 13.9 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 1.6 assists last season. The sophomore guard from Toronto, ON, has spent the last two seasons with the Spartans. She shot 33.3 percent from the field and 26.8 percent from three last season.
After starting 17 of her 24 appearances in her freshman season, Anderson then redshirted her next season. Last season was technically her third year of college, but she still has two years of eligibility remaining. Anderson is a tall guard, aiding her defensively. She also has a high jump shot, allowing her to get shots off over a plethora of defenders.
Anderson has great court vision, allowing her to see the court in ways that others simply cannot. Her addition to the team is one that has the potential to be the best of the bunch, as she is a true impact player who has even more to unlock in her game.
