
Ole Miss vaults nine spots in the AP Top 25 poll after defeating LSU

OXFORD, Miss. – Ole Miss vaulted nine spots in the Associated Press top 25 poll on Sunday after defeating the No. 4 ranked LSU Tigers 24-19 on Saturday.
Ole Miss (5-0, 3-0 SEC) came into the game ranked No. 13 in the nation.
In the game, the Rebels were led by quarterback Trinidad Chambliss who passed for 314 yards with a touchdown and an interception. He also ran for for 71 yards on 14 attempts.
Ole Miss joins ten other SEC teams in this week’s poll and is the highest-ranked conference team in this week’s rankings: Ole Miss (4), Oklahoma (5), A&M (6), Texas (9), Alabama (10), Georgia (12), LSU (13), Tennessee (15), Vanderbilt (16), Missouri (19).
