The 6-foot-3, 180-pounder was injured in his team’s game third game of the season, coming against Lake Travis. Prior to getting hurt, Locke was enjoying a successful stint at QB, completing 30 of 54 passes for 334 and three touchdowns.
He held offers from Miami, Wisconsin, Duke, East Carolina, North Texas, SMU, Tulsa, Western Kentucky and Sam Houston State.
As a junior, his first season as a starter, the three-star recruit threw for 1700+ yards and 19 touchdowns.
The Rebels are looking to add to the quarterback room following the departure of three-year starter Jaxson Dart to the NFL. The Rebels return presumed-starter Austin Simmons as well as AJ Maddox, a former four-star recruit.
