Ole Miss drops six spots in AP Top 25 after loss to Florida
OXFORD, Miss. — After a crushing 24-17 loss to Florida on the road Saturday, Ole Miss has dropped six spots to No. 15 in the Associated Press Top 25 rankings released today.
In a weekend that also saw Alabama, BYU, A&M, and Colorado, to name a few, lose games, there were a number of changes in this week’s AP Top 25 rankings. Like Ole Miss, the Crimson Tide also dropped six spots, while BYU, Indiana and A&M fell five. Colorado and Army were each knocked down seven spots, the most in this week’s poll.
There are eight SEC teams in this week’s AP poll: Texas (3), Georgia (6), Tennessee (7), Alabama (13), Ole Miss (15), South Carolina (16), A&M (20), and Missouri (24).
Ole Miss hosts Mississippi State in the annual Egg Bowl this coming Friday in Oxford.
