OXFORD, Miss. — Following a bye week, Ole Miss football dropped three spots to No. 18 in the Coaches Poll and remained at No. 18 in the Associated Press Top 25.
There was a shakeup at the top this week as the former-No. 1 Texas Longhorns lost to Georgia. There are nine Southeastern Conference teams ranked by the AP this week, including Vanderbilt, who is a new entrant to the polls this season.
SEC teams in the AP Top 25 include: 2) Georgia, 5) Texas, 7) Tennessee, 8) LSU, 14) Texas A&M, 15) Alabama, 18) Ole Miss, 21) Missouri, and 25) Vanderbilt.
Ole Miss hosts Oklahoma this Saturday, October 26, at Vaught-Hemingway. Kickoff is set for 11:00 a.m. and the game will be broadcast on ESPN.
