Lane Kiffin, Ole Miss Football host Chris Hardie, former First-Team All-CUSA player
OXFORD, Miss. – Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin and his staff have assembled the No. 1-ranked transfer portal class in the country, but that isn’t stopping this set of coaches from trying to make their roster even more complete heading into summer camp.
As reported by Pete Thamel of ESPN, defensive line coach Randall Joyner is set to bring in Chris Hardie for a visit, a former edge rusher for Jacksonville State. Statistically, Hardie consistently improved over his last four years with the Gamecocks, and there’s no doubt he truly emerged as a threat in 2023.

Hardie, who entered the transfer portal on April 23, led the defensive line in tackles, recording 60, while tallying 8.5 sacks, one pass deflection, and an interception. Following that dominant season, he was named First-Team All-CUSAn.
Standing at 6-foot-2 and weighing 270 pounds, Hardie possesses all the physical traits needed to compete in the SEC. Off the edge, he brings an abundance of speed and does an exceptional job preventing run plays from becoming successful.

Hardie is a grad transfer with one year of eligibility remaining.
