Ole Miss running back Kedrick Reescano set to enter transfer portal

OXFORD, Miss. — Ole Miss running back Kedrick Reescano is set to enter the transfer portal Tuesday as first reported by On3. Players have until midnight tonight to enter before the spring window closes.

The sophomore running back was a four-star in the Ole Miss class of 2023 recruiting cycle. The New Caney, Texas native committed to the Rebels in December, 2022 and was the nation’s No. 7 running back at the time. He was also ranked the No. 23 overall athlete in the Lone Star State for 2023.

With the departure of Quinshon Judkins to Ohio State, the Rebels looked in the offseason to fortify a running back room that is set to return Ulysses Bentley IV as the feature back.

Head coach Lane Kiffin, widely thought of as the ‘Portal King,’ and staff recently secured the return of former Ole Miss back Henry Parrish Jr. who had left for Miami two seasons ago. The Rebels also signed Logan Diggs, a transfer running back from LSU who played well for the Tigers but was injured late in the season.

Then, Ole Miss went out and brought in another phenomenal running back via the portal in New Mexico star Jacory Croskey-Merritt, who committed on April 19.

With this many talented backs who will all be looking for carries, it’s not surprising Reescano would enter the portal. We wish the best to Kedrick and will keep you posted on where he lands.
