Ole Miss Wide Receiver Tre Harris Named Way-Too-Early All-American by ESPN
OXFORD, Miss. — ESPN released its annual “Way-To-Early All-American Team,” and for the second year in a row, an Ole Miss player was featured on the list.
Rebels’ wide receiver Tre Harris has been listed on the second team for the 2024 season. Former Rebel running back Quinshon Judkins was named to the first team in 2023.

Despite Tre struggling with a knee injury early in the 2023 season, he still led the Ole Miss receiving room with 985 yards and eight touchdowns.

In the Rebels’ final game of the ‘23 season against Penn State in the Peach Bowl, the No. 2 overall defense in the country, Harris caught seven receptions for 134 yards, averaging 19 yards per catch.
Ahead of Harris on the first team is Arizona wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan, who finished with 1,402 receiving yards, the fifth most in all of college football. Keep in mind, however, that Harris also shared the field with a 1,000-yard rusher in Quinshon Judkins and two 700-plus-yard receivers, Jordan Watkins and Dayton Wade.
If Harris can maintain his health and use the experience he has in Lane Kiffin’s offense to his advantage, there is no doubt he’ll likely be named a first-team All-American by the end of next year.
