VIDEO: Coach Mike Bianco talks about the Rebels’ 14-7 game-two win over A&M that ties the series

COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Ole Miss defeated A&M, 14-7, in come-from-behind fashion Saturday night at Olsen Field. After the game, head coach Mike Bianco talked with media about the victory.

“Just so proud of these guys,” Coach Bianco said. “Obviously it’s been a tough road for us the last couple weeks. We played well tonight.”

Ole Miss scored its 14 runs off 10 hits. Reagan Burford, Jacob Gonzalez, TJ McCants and Kemp Alderman all had multiple hits on the night. Ole Miss also walked 13 times in the game.

Starting pitcher Xavier Rivas finished 4.2 innings on the mound, striking out seven, allowing seven hits, five runs and four walks.

Brayden Jones was outstanding as he notched three innings of relief while striking out four and giving up four hits. Jordan Vera and Cole Ketchum came on to finish things off for the Rebels.
