OXFORD, Miss. — Ole Miss defeated VCU, 14-3, at Swayze to take the series from the Rams.
Drew McDaniel earns the win for the Rebels and moves to 2-0 on the season. Jacob Gaddis pitched three innings in relief and gave up no runs.
At the plate, Ole Miss notched 14 hits, including home runs from Tim Elko, Jacob Gonzalez and Tywone Malone.
