Ole Miss makes a move in this week’s baseball polls
After sweeping three games in the Chanticleer Classic, the Rebels made a move in this week’s national baseball polls.
Ole Miss (10-1) climbed from No. 17 to No. 13 in D1 Baseball’s Top 25, moved up from No. 15 to No. 13 in Perfect Game’s Top 25, and remained at No. 13 in Baseball America’s Top 25.
The Rebels defeated Ball State (7-3), No. 18 Coastal Carolina (8-2), and Cincinnati (7-1) in the weekend tournament held in Conway, South Carolina.
Ole Miss hosts Southeast Missouri on Tuesday (6:30 p.m.) and Wednesday (4:00 p.m.), before a weekend home series against Grambling State. (First pitch for the weekend games are as follows: Friday at 6:30 p.m.; Saturday at 1:30 p.m.; and Sunday at 1:30 p.m.)
