Ole Miss ranks No. 13 in Sports Illustrated’s Top 25
Sports Illustrated’s B.J. Schecter, Ben Glicksman and Colin Becht revealed SI’s preseason Top 25 poll on Wednesday, placing the Ole Miss Rebels at No. 13. Ole Miss was two spots higher than where it appeared in the Amway USA Today Coaches Poll released last week.
Sports Illustrated ranked defending national champion Ohio State at No. 1, followed by Auburn, TCU, Notre Dame, and Alabama.
The Rebels, who return their seven top linemen, were one of eight Southeastern Conference teams to appear in the poll. Georgia (11), Missouri (20), Arkansas (22), LSU (23), and Mississippi State (25) were the other SEC schools to appear.
