Ole Miss 2025 Rebel Football Transfer Portal Tracker
January 19, 2025 — Ole Miss has officially received commitments from 24 players in the portal, and you can read all about them – and the players transferring out – below.
FALL PORTAL HAS NOW CLOSED: The Transfer Portal fall window opened December 9, 2024 and closed as of midnight December 28, 2024. Keep in mind, a player did not have to commit to a new school by the 28th, he merely had to be entered in to the portal to be eligible to transfer to a new school for the spring — and he has until the deadline to add spring classes to register at a new school. Ole Miss’ spring semester begins January 21; however, students have until February 3rd to add classes.

December 17, 2024: The Rebels have a commitment from Auburn transfer safety Antonio Kite. Kite had previously transferred to the Tigers from Alabama.
December 17, 2024: Ole Miss has gained a commitment from De’Zhaun Stribling, a transfer wide receiver from Oklahoma State.
December 16, 2024: Ole Miss gets commit from Missouri transfer RB Kewan Lacy. He’s a former four-star recruit who had the Rebels on his final list in December 2023.
December 16, 2024: Ole Miss offensive lineman Micah Pettus has entered the transfer portal.
December 14, 2024: Boom! Pete Golding, Randall Joyner, Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss got a big one Saturday night, as Nebraska transfer DL Princewill Umanmielen committed to the Rebels. He’s the younger brother of Princely Umanielen who made his mark on the Rebels’ d-line. Princewill is the No. 1 EDGE in the portal and the No. 4 overall player.
December 13, 2024: Ole Miss picked up another huge commitment, the fourth of the fall portal window, as former Arkansas safety Jaylon Braxton committed Friday night. The former class of 2023 recruit was a freshman All-SEC selection for the Razorbacks.
December 13, 2024: The Rebels picked up where they left off from December 12th, adding their third portal commitment, this one coming from Arkansas offensive lineman Patrick Kutas.
December 12, 2024: Ole Miss gained its second commit of the day, Thursday, when UNC Charlotte transfer offensive lineman PJ Wilkins committed to the Rebels.
December 12, 2024: Ole Miss picked up its first portal commit and it’s a big one! Former 5-star LSU defensive end Da’Shawn Womack has committed!
December 10, 2024: Walker Howard has committed to Louisiana Lafayette, the first school to offer him back before he was even a sophomore in high school.
December 9, 2024: To hardly anyone’s surprise, Ole Miss redshirt sophomore quarterback Walker Howard has entered the transfer portal.
