Ole Miss Guard Patton Pinkins Returning to Rebels for Sophomore Season

OXFORD, Miss. — Rising sophomore guard Patton Pinkins is set to return to Ole Miss next season, as reported by Draft Express. As a true freshman, Pinkins stepped up for Ole Miss in pivotal moments throughout the 2025-2026 season and made a positive impact for the Rebels during his time on the court.

The 6-foot-5, 200-pound guard played in all 35 games this season, 20 of which he started. He averaged 9.3 points per game this past season and shot 42.2% from three-point range, the second-highest three-point percentage in Ole Miss school history.

Pinkins helped the Rebels secure last-second, regular-season road wins against Georgia and Mississippi State.

Pinkins isn’t the first announced Rebel who will return, as Ilias Kamardine is also coming back. With Pinkins returning, as well, Ole Miss seems to be ahead of the curve on guard play next season. Pinkins showed signs of great potential as a freshman and adds a new level to the Ole Miss offense by staying and developing under Chris Beard and company.
