Reports: Ole Miss guard Hobert Grayson plans to enter transfer portal

OXFORD, Miss. – Ole Miss guard Hobert Grayson intends to enter the transfer portal, according to his agent, Dhaunye Guice.

Grayson played in five games for the Rebels, scoring a total of seven points and collecting seven rebounds in a total of 28 minutes across the five games. Before arriving at Ole Miss, he played at Northeast Community College, Holmes Community College, and Division II Ouachita Baptist.

He found great success at the Division II level. Grayson averaged 21 points and 11 rebounds per game. He tacked on 68 assists, 52 steals, and 10 blocks during his time at Ouachita Baptist. He was also named an NCAA Division II All-American, earned all-conference honors, and was named the conference player of the year. Grayson joined the Rebels soon thereafter.

The Gonzales, Louisiana, native now looks to find a new home after a stint with the Rebels.

What’s Next?

The NCAA transfer portal window for immediate eligibility officially runs from April 7 through April 21.
