Moore will enter his junior year with the Rebels. In 2024, the 5’10, 180-pound kicker made 4/6 of his field goal attempts and went 16/16 on extra points for the Mountaineers. Before his time with App. State, he was on the roster at Kentucky where he would redshirt as a true freshman.
Moore attended high school at Marvin Ridge and was touted as a four-star prospect by Kohl’s Professional Camp. He was the starter there for all four years. In his senior season, he was perfect on PATs and 7/10 on field goals. He won accolades such as the 4A Southern Carolina Conference Special Teams Player of the Year (2021, 2022) and First-team All-State by Prep Redzone North Carolina, HighSchoolOT.com, and Union County High School Football.Â
Moore joins what is already shaping up to be one of the stronger special teams rooms in the SEC, alongside kicker Lucas Carniero and punter Oscar Bird. Â
With experienced legs and depth at key specialist positions, Ole Miss continues to prioritize field position and scoring efficiency in all phases. Adding Moore not only provides competition at kicker but also strengthens depth — a crucial factor in the grind of an SEC schedule.
For the Rebels, it’s another calculated addition in the portal.
