OXFORD, Miss. — On national signing day Wednesday, Ole Miss signed 2026 3-star defensive lineman Jamarion Owens from Raleigh, Mississippi.
While most of the 2026 high school recruits signed back in December, Owens chose to wait until the February signing period — but he is now officially an Ole Miss Rebel.

The Rebels added 19 high school recruits with their early signing day class haul.
Owens, a 6-foot-2, 270-pound defensive lineman and the reigning 3A Mr. Football, recorded 115 tackles, 13 sacks, eight fumble recoveries, and seven tackles for loss across his three seasons for Raleigh (Miss.) High.
Owens chose Ole Miss over offers from Memphis, Southern Miss, South Alabama and others.
Rebels’ defensive line coach Randall Joyner is among the best in the business. He has developed NFL talent such as Sam Williams, Jared Ivey, Walter Nolan, and Princely Umanmielen, to name a few. Owens has all the tools and potential to thrive as a part of the Rebels’ defensive unit.
