Gill arrives in Oxford as a veteran playmaker with one season of eligibility remaining and a résumé that reflects steady growth at the Power Four level. Over three seasons in Syracuse’s offense, the 6-foot-3, 190-pound receiver developed into a reliable target with the ability to stretch the field and win contested catches.
His best work came during the 2025 season, when Gill played in all 12 games and posted career highs across the board, finishing with 32 receptions for 506 yards and five touchdowns. A year earlier, he delivered a similar level of production as a sophomore, hauling in 31 passes for 570 yards and two scores, showing consistency and big-play ability in back-to-back seasons.
Gill’s path wasn’t instant stardom — it was earned. As a true freshman in 2023, he appeared in all 13 games but was used sparingly, recording seven catches for 60 yards and a touchdown. From there, his role expanded each season, culminating in his emergence as one of Syracuse’s more dependable offensive weapons.
Before college, Gill starred at Atascocita High School in Texas, entering the 2023 recruiting cycle as a three-star prospect. He was ranked No. 1,586 nationally and the No. 252 wide receiver in the Rivals Industry Rankings — a player who developed into far more than his recruiting label suggested.
That development didn’t go unnoticed.
At the time of his commitment, Gill ranked as the No. 25 wide receiver in On3’s 2026 Transfer Portal Player Rankings and drew interest from several Power Four programs, including Washington Huskies and Ohio State Buckeyes, before choosing Ole Miss Rebels.
For Ole Miss, Gill represents a plug-and-play veteran with size, experience, and proven production — exactly the kind of addition the Rebels have targeted as they continue to reload through the portal. With one season left to make his mark, Gill steps into an offense that knows how to showcase wide receivers and turn opportunity into output.
Oxford just got bigger, longer, and more dangerous on the outside.
