BOOM! Ole Miss lands Miami offensive tackle Tommy Kinsler IV
Oxford, Miss. –Â Ole Miss and Pete Golding received yet another commitment from the transfer portal today, this time from Miami offensive lineman Tommy Kinsler IV.
The Florida native entered the transfer portal following an unbelievable run for the Hurricanes, finishing as the second-best team in the country.
Entering his freshman season at Miami in 2023, Kinsler appeared in one game and earned himself a redshirt heading into 2024. Over the past two seasons, the 6-foot-6, 340-pound tackle has played in 18 games across several different roles for Mario Cristobal.

Upon entering the transfer portal, Kinsler drew interest from Auburn, Arkansas, UCLA, and Ole Miss, among others. One specific influential factor playing into the decision of Kinsler was the hiring of Cody Woodiel, the former Miami tight ends coach.
As it stands, the Rebel’s have lost both starting tackles Jayden Williams and Diego Pounds to the NFL draft, along with Devin Harper, who was previously signed with Ole Miss before transferring to LSU. The addition of Kinsler with two years of eligibility was an absolute necessity for John Garrison and the offensive staff.
