College Football Playoff Availability Report: Ole Miss vs. Tulane
OXFORD, Miss.— The College Football Playoff will make its first-ever stop in Oxford on Saturday, as No. 6 Ole Miss hosts No. 11 Tulane in a postseason matchup that marks a CFP debut for both programs.
With three days remaining before kickoff, the CFP released its official availability reports for both teams. Ole Miss will be without junior cornerback Cedrick Beavers, who started each of the Rebels’ final three regular-season games. Beavers has recorded one interception this season and that came against Tulane back on September 20.
The Rebels could, however, receive a boost in the secondary. Junior cornerback Antonio Kite is trending toward a return after missing three of the last four games. Earlier this week, head coach Pete Golding indicated Kite should be available for Saturday’s game.
