Ole Miss releases Wednesday availability report ahead of Florida game
OXFORD, Miss. — Ole Miss hosts Florida Saturday for the final home regular-season game of 2025, and to say there is a lot riding on the outcome would be an understatement.
The Rebels are currently sitting at No. 7 in the college football playoff rankings, and any slip up could potentially knock out Lane Kiffin’s bunch. Ole Miss, however, is a 15-point favorite heading into the game, so that bodes well. But this is the Southeastern Conference and every opponent is tough, week-in and week-out.
There’s also the elephant in the room: Florida has Rebels’ coach Lane Kiffin atop their list to replace fired coach Billy Napier. Will Kiffin leave? No one knows — although there sure seems to be a good bit of Gator social media who believe they know. Needless to say, it’s an added layer to what will already be a raucous game.
Ole Miss released its first availability report of the week tonight and the Rebels have one player listed as out and three who are considered questionable. Cornerback Antonio Kite, who missed the South Carolina and Citadel games due to a hamstring injury suffered in the Oklahoma game, is listed as questionable. Kite has not practiced this week, but he is improving.
Defensive linemen Jeffery Rush and Jamarious Brown are also questionable, while linebacker Raymond Collins is listed as out.
Florida, meanwhile, has nine players listed as out, two questionable and one doubtful. Last week, the Gators had 13 players on the list who were out for their game against Kentucky, a humiliating loss for Florida on the road.
Two of the most noticeable losses for the Gators are perhaps wide receivers Dallas Wilson (foot) and Eugene Wilson III (ankle). Wilson III was the third-best receiver on the team when he went down in the loss to Georgia and had tallied 27 catches for 239 yards and 3 TDs.
Dallas Wilson has 12 receptions for 174 yards and three touchdowns in four games played, and he also went down in the Georgia game.
