Ole Miss places three players on initial Availability Report for Egg Bowl

OXFORD, Miss. — Ole Miss football travels to Starkville this Friday to play Mississippi State in Davis-Wade Stadium in the annual Egg Bowl rivalry.

Ole Miss (10-1, 6-1 SEC) is ranked No. 7 in this week’s College Football Playoff rankings and, with a win over the Bulldogs, would find itself in the school’s first playoffs. Mississippi State (5-6, 1-6 SEC), on the other hand, is fighting to win its sixth game and become bowl eligible.

If the Rebels win, it would be the first time in program history the school has notched 11 regular-season victories, and it should mean a home playoff game in Oxford.

On Tuesday night,Ole Miss and State released their initial availability reports for the week. For the Rebels, they will be without linebacker Raymond Collins. Additionally, wide receiver Caleb Cunningham and cornerback Antonio Kite are listed as questionable.
