Ole Miss releases Wednesday availability report ahead of Oklahoma game: Rebels have two key receivers on list

OXFORD, Miss — Ole Miss football (6-1, 3-1 SEC) is headed to Norman for a showdown with Oklahoma this Saturday. The No. 8 Rebels lost a close one to Georgia last weekend and are looking to rebound and get back on the winning track.
The No. 13-ranked Sooners (6-1, 2-1) have their quarterback, John Mateer, back from a hand injury, looking as if he never left. They also have a defense that Lane Kiffin has praised all week.
“Obviously one of the harder places to play in the country and then adding to that what I think, really, in our six years, is the hardest defense we’ve played. Most disruptive and hardest defense we’ve played in six years. The numbers back that. They’re No. 1 in the country in a lot of categories. Got a combination of really elite, quick, fast players with one of the best defensive coaches in all of football for a long time. They’ve got it really rolling.”
